Arsenal, aiming to extend their advantage at the top of the table, took an early lead through Bukayo Saka inside five minutes.
Piero Hincapié doubled the lead in the 56th minute following a VAR review.
However, Hugo Bueno scored in the 61st minute for Wolves, and debutant Tom Edozie secured a stoppage-time equaliser.
The draw sparked widespread criticism of manager Mikel Arteta, with fans taking to social media to question his tactics and demand accountability.
Mazi Olisaemeka tweeted that Arteta should step aside if Arsenal fail to win the league this season, while other supporters highlighted repeated tactical errors and inconsistent performances.
Despite the setback, Arsenal remain five points clear at the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City holding a game in hand.
Opta supercomputer data shows the Gunners’ probability of lifting the trophy has dropped to 79.69% from previous highs of over 90%, while City’s chances have risen to 17.26%.
Since his appointment in 2019, Arteta has transformed Arsenal into consistent title contenders, reviving hopes of ending a 19-year league title drought.
