Hilda, who previously set the record for the longest cooking marathon, revealed in an Instagram post that she discovered the latest achievements while casually checking her emails.
Originally expecting to claim only the record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, Guinness World Records confirmed that the same meal also set a record for the largest serving of rice overall.
“This recognition has strengthened my passion for culinary excellence and community-driven achievements,” Hilda said, describing the milestone as both shocking and heartwarming.
The chef credited her partner, Oreoluwa Atinmo, as the backbone of the project, highlighting that the success was the result of shared vision and teamwork.
Social media users quickly congratulated Hilda, with fans praising her dedication and celebrating her double accomplishment from a single event.
Earlier concerns about the hygiene of the rice used during the cookathon were addressed by Hilda’s team, who shared videos confirming that the rice bags were thoroughly washed before cooking, putting doubts to rest.
